We got to see our newest little bundle again today! It was the 28 week 4D ultrasound. The hospital that conducted the 20 week diagnostic ultrasound performs this 4D u/s for free for their patients. This was a neat experience for us since we did not do this when I was pregnant with Michael.
My expectations were probably a little too high. I did expect a better picture. But I am just glad we got this good one!
When the tech started the u/s, the umbilical cord was over the bridge of his nose and it moved down to right above his lips. It looked like he had a mustache! His hands were all over his face too. You can see his right hand in this picture. We could also see that he had some hair! It was so fun to see all of these details! We got to see his little toes and legs too.
We got 60 images and some video but this one is the best one. Walking out of the exam room, I was not super confident that the tech got many great pictures so I said to Chris: "I expected the pictures to be better, clearer." Chris's response: "What did you expect? The baby to be holding up a sign that says HI MOM!" YES!! That is exactly what I expected. LOL. Chris knows me too well.
